Ann-Kristin Solstrand grew up on a farm in western part of Norway. She learned early to be practical and to see beauty all around since she grew up on a little sheep-farm in a hidden valley with loads of nature. Her interest in photography started from the first time she got to hold a camera, but it was only as a hobby for a long time. When she got the opportunity to come to the USA to study photography, she grabbed it with joy and have now graduated Cuyahoga Community College with an associate degree. She continues to do what she loves, and pretty much always carries her camera wherever she goes.
